"TRIZ attempt to circumvent the many mediocre solutions to problems and get directly to the best solutions faster »

Manuel Balbo and Jérôme Laforcade met each other at Invention Machine France, a software editor focused on innovation aid, founded in 1992 by scientists come from the former USSR.
Trained to TRIZ in 1996 by Dr Sergei Ikovenko (former collaborator of G. Altschuller), Jérôme Laforcade, Technical Director at Invention Machine France, learned and applied the theory while supporting the company software dedicated to the management of patents’ knowledge. Manuel Balbo joined Invention Machine France in 2000 as Director, pursuing the objective to develop major projects in the INAO field. Rapidly converted to TRIZ theory by Sergei Ikovenko (a theory he is currently teaching in several engineering schools), associating it with his own manager experience, he quickly understood the major prospects of TRIZ for industrials.
Following this first industrial experience and their long practice of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Product Life Management (PLM), Manuel Balbo and Jérôme Laforcade went back to TRIZ roots, by staying at Saint Petersburg to study algorithms of evolution’s laws in collaboration with the scientists of the MATRIZ association.
In 2003, they founded the CCRIM company (Conseil en CRéativité, Innovation et Management), in order to develop their own analytical approach, more efficient regarding the results achieved and tailored to industrial companies’ issues. CCRIM is the first company in Europe with a TRIZ expertise. Its specificity is the high level of practice of the CCRIM leaders who were directly involved in projects management. Thanks to its successful results, CCRIM became the unique consulting firm generating a growing sales revenue till its creation.
In 2013,CCRIM evolved and became MeetSYS. This evolution is materialized by the deployment of, i²Kn (Information To Knowledge Network). A unique and high value-added solution to capitalize knowledge and know-how. Rooted in the return of experience of CCRIM in innovation engineering, this tool provides interconnected and communicative anchors to MeetSYS directly at the centre of Industry, as any major actor of the fourth industrial revolution.
